Before I show you the work I do, I would like to show you what I do it with.

  • AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz

  • 32 GB RAM

  • TIO24Gen4T touch monitor

  • MSI MAG271C Curved Monitor

  • GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card

If you have any concerns about how I do my work, the machine that makes the magic happen does not need to be one of them.

The not-so-secret

to my style

I believe most content should speak for itself, and if it’s done properly it doesn’t require a bunch of fancy edits and jokes. Much like how I learned from my work in the kitchen, the food by itself can be good. The food can even be great. If you take the time to season it just right though and put the care into it, you can elevate it into a memorable experience that you may never forget. Steak by itself is good, just like your idea. Steak with salt and pepper is great like how you made your idea a reality. But steak seasoned perfectly, which is truly tender, like it was from an angel above, is a holy cow, much like a perfectly timed edit on your now public vision.

It's all about getting the audience to react. If people are reacting it means they’re paying attention. If they’re paying attention it means they’re interested. And if they’re interested they are more likely to come back. The Ripple Effect is real and I’m ready to be the pebble that helps start your tidal wave of growth.

I’ve hand-picked a few examples that might not be my best work but are some of my favorites for how well-timed and appropriate I feel they are.

In Magic, a rare thing to happen is Melding. Turning two cards into one giant card. Not only does it get stronger but it’s just really frickin’ cool. So, when it does happen it’s a pretty big deal. That why this whole video we teased it. And even learned a little about Titania. (SPOILERS: She LOVES Metallica)

This one is special to me. It was a themed release trailer for a Magic set that was perfect for the streamer’s style. It was in hopes to get WotC to give him a preview card, but instead we just got a fun trailer. This is the short version.

Duskmourn is a horror themed Magic: The Gathering set so what better way to hear the story than to spookify it? Ominous TV static, a slower deeper voice, and a really weird story about Demons in a house with strangers because reasons.

Sometimes you show off a game and it has some slow spots. Sometimes there isn’t much going on, but you don’t cut it completely out because you’re just trying to show off the game. That’s where little things like this come in handy.

As a kid, watching cartoons, I remember hearing Smithereens a lot. I always guessed it just meant to pieces, but hearing it at 38 I was curious if it was a place. Turns out it’s a weird bar? Restaurant? In NYC. But it’s also a series so that bad guy is now an actor by getting blown directly into Smithereens.

There isn’t much to say about this one. She said it’s her favorite edit that I’ve made for her and sometimes you just wanna play your cards. And how can you not? Look at Bolas. He’s GORGEOUS!

Finally, some of my own content. I kind of just put a video out to see what I could do without a green screen. The recording process was the real problem, but I think it turned out pretty well. I’ve gotten compliments that there could have been two of me in the room.

This was just a sudden choice on my end. I added all of the music but when he started singing, I couldn’t help myself. I feel like most of us have been there in that stage, so it felt right to add the hair.

Here, Headology had a rough go on trying to get into day 2 of a tournament. So, I tried to lighten the mood by adding simple Clapper transitions and wordplay. Like the Take 5 Candy bar having Peanuts AND peanut butter for some reason.

In this example BBT paused for one second. For me, that means wasted time and we don’t want that SO I make one of the first jokes in a video that I ever had.
